The Thai stock market is still at risk from the coronavirus outbreak, including affecting the overall economy and tourism overview. The Tourism Authority of Thailand estimated that if the situation takes  3 months, the tourism revenue will be affected at around Bt100bn while the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce estimated that the said event will affect Thai GDP in 2020 by about 0.5% 0.7% (IMF expected Thai GDP in 2020 to be 3.0%).

นอกจากนี้ หลักเกณฑ์สินเชื่อส่วนบุคคล หรือ Personal loan ที่ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย (ธปท.) ประกาศใช้ยังช่วยเพิ่มโอกาสในการเติบโตให้กับ MTC เนื่องจากปัจจุบันบริษัทฯมี Personal loan ทั้งสินเชื่อรายย่อย สินเชื่อจำนำทะเบียนรถ สินเชื่อรถจักรยานยนต์ ซึ่งตามเกณฑ์ใหม่ กำหนดเพดานดอกเบี้ยไว้ที่ 28% โดยปัจจุบันบริษัทฯคิดอัตราดอกเบี้ยเพียง 23% ทำให้มีช่องว่างในการขึ้นอัตราดอกเบี้ย หากต้นทุนทางการเงินสูงขึ้น ตามแนวโน้มอัตราดอกเบี้ยเงินฝาก ที่อยู่ในช่วงขาขึ้น
